A Utah Parent of a BYU athlete speaks up and calls all Utahns to action!:

As a parent whose child is an athlete at BYU, I am absolutely beside myself that they would forbid a parent from attending their child's events. I have invested much of my life to creating and nurturing this child and chose to help my child attend this school whom I actually (yes, stupidly) trusted and they treat me as if I am an enemy. They discriminate against me as if I am dirty or immoral. I am absolutely neither and I am standing up and pushing back for all students, all adults, and parents and fighting against discrimination and segregation. This is absolutely abhorrent and satanic to require medical procedures to come into their buildings. This is exactly the way Satan would operate and good people would stand up to this!

Please consider your reaction to BYUs new rule that requires a person to be injected with a medical substance or undergo a medical test in order to attend an event.  Of all the schools or businesses to be doing this right now, it is so offensive and backwards that a school who claims to follow God would treat community members this way, especially community members who have raised and sent their child to the school.  I am directly affected by this new rule and cannot pretend that this evil is remotely okay.  Evil like this must be stood up to; we must push back.  

Call to Action:

• Please call (801) 422-4511 and remind them of logic, morality, and God. 
  • FLOOD their phone lines with calls about the policy.  It makes zero moral sense.  It violates the Fourth Amendment.  It makes zero logical sense.  Everyone has the opportunity to get the bio-weapon or wear a mask if they wish.  If those things work, why the need to push it upon everyone?  Even the CDC admits now that the bioweapon does not stop transmission and the reason to get is is to lesson symptoms FOR THE INDIVIDUAL, so it has nothing to do with helping another.  This is absurd and immoral and needs to be fought, however futile it may feel.  WE HAVE made a difference!!!  The tide is turning and we need to keep it up!

BYU announced it will be requiring attendees of large, indoor public events on campus to present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test starting Jan. 20. These include athletics and performing arts events, conferences and symposiums.

“Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test may be required at any public event, but generally will be required at public events with more than 100 attendees,” BYU’s COVID-19 updates page says.

According to University Communications, devotionals are considered “internal campus events” and are not part of this announcement.

Masks are still required at all indoor BYU facilities when physical distancing isn’t maintained regardless of vaccination status, and individuals experiencing illness symptoms should not attend campus events, the update says.

Guests under 12 years old can still enter the venue without showing proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. BYU recommends guests arrive early to allow time for entry screening.
