Assistant Training

Thank you for your interest in serving the people in your area as an Area Assistant (a.k.a. "AA"), Field Assistant (a.k.a. "FA"), or State Assistant (a.k.a. "SA") within the People's Rights network.  These trusted, key roles facilitates communication and coordination with your neighbors in defense of  their rights.  The role of Area Assistant, specifically, truly is the backbone of the entire effort, and one to which others will look to for leadership in your local area.  Keep reading for additional information on these important roles.

Area Assistant Introduction

If you haven't already, please watch this short video (2m 48s) about the role of Area Assistant...

As you may have noticed the first time you logged in (unless there currently aren't any in your selected area), being an Area Assistant means that your contact details (name, email and mobile number) is made available (only) to other users of People's Rights within your area.  AAs serve as a point of contact for other folks that live nearby. 

Unlike other organizations and efforts, the People's Rights network does not function with a top-down leadership hierarchy or structure.  Each Area Assistant - with occasional help offered by State Assistants (where available) - is responsible for helping those in their local area in organizing and defending individual rights.  You know your local area better than someone from a different state, and how best you might help your neighbors in securing their liberties.

Area Assistants should typically seek to be informed on local issues, efforts and threats that others may need to be aware of to ensure their rights are not being infringed upon.  As well, AAs should be prepared to receive calls for help in defending the rights of their neighbor...  and be ready and available to activate (notify) others within the area (using the tools provided within the People's Rights portal, or otherwise) to come to their aid.

State Assistant Introduction

Field Assistant Introduction

A Field Assistant in the People's Rights network is someone that is focused (or has agree to focus) on a specific subject or topic.  Or, they may already be an expert in a certain field of interest.  An FA should be willing and able to serve as a resource for others in their area.  Unlike Area and State Assistants, however, FAs do not have access the contact details of local people, but can see State, Area and other Field Assistant contact details, and collaborate with them.

Field Assistants also have the ability to publish content in the People's Rights Newsroom. AAs can assign FAs, but only for their local area. SAs can also assign FAs to one or more areas, as needed. Field Assistant contact details are currently displayed to users of People's Rights in the My Area section after logging in.


Communication Toolset

As an Area or State Assistant within the People's Rights network, you'll be provided with various communication tools to help you perform your responsibilities effectively.  Through volunteer efforts, these communication tools are constantly being improved (as time allows), but will presently allow you to keep in contact with other users of People's Rights in your local area...  and even reach out to other Assistants in neighboring areas, as needed.

If you experience difficulty using these tools (or have challenges using your tech devices, etc) please first reach out to other AAs and/or SAs (where available) for help.  If they are unable to resolve the issue, you are welcome to contact , and a developer will be in touch, where possible.  Please note, however, that due to the scope of this effort and the sheer number of people involved, there may be a delay in response.
